Effectrode

Blackbird Vacuum Tube Preamp

From nearly clean extra level to coloured preamp saturation. More output can overdrive the next amplifier.

Blue Bottle boost

From nearly clean extra level to coloured preamp saturation. More output can overdrive the next amplifier.

Effectrode

Delta Trem

From a gentle pulse to a chopping rhythm. Waveform and depth determine how smooth or abrupt it sounds.

Effectrode

Fire Bottle tube boost

From nearly clean extra level to coloured preamp saturation. More output can overdrive the next amplifier.

Effectrode

Glass-A

Usually has no intended sound effect; routing and buffering can affect the overall chain.

Effectrode

Mercury Fuzz

Can sound woolly, abrasive, sputtering or synth-like. The circuit determines how well it cleans up with the guitar volume.

Effectrode

PC-2A compressor

More even levels and longer notes; strong compression reduces picking dynamics and makes noise more audible.

Effectrode

Phaseomatic, vacuum tube Phaser

A flowing swoosh that adds movement to clean and distorted parts. The number of stages and feedback influence its emphasis.

Effectrode

Tube drive , symmetric clipping distortion

More saturation and sustain with a stronger distorted edge. EQ and the amplifier determine how sharp or thick it sounds.

Effectrode

Tube Vibe

Rotating, pulsating movement with a character distinct from ordinary chorus.
